지역문화콘텐츠연구소 사회적협동조합은 오는 2024년 02월 02일까지 로컬디제이 양성 클래스 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.
지역문화콘텐츠연구소 사회적협동조합이 주관하는 로컬디제이 양성 클래스는 <Boost Your Local - 지역청년 지원 사업의 일환으로 (사)함께만드는세상(사회연대은행)이 주최하고, 생명보험사회공헌위원회, 삼성생명, 행정안전부의 후원을 받아 진행되는 사업으로, 지역청년들에게 8주간의 디제잉 교육을 제공하고, 앞으로 지역에서 디제이로 활동할 수 있도록 돕는 사업이다.
해당 교육은 전액 무상으로 지역에서 디제잉 교육을 받고, 활동하기를 희망하는 경상남도 진주 인근지역 거주자 누구나 신청이 가능하며, 2월 17일부터 4월 6일까지 매주 토요일 오후3시~5시에 진행된다.
또한, 해당 교육을 수료한 지역청년에게는 남강피크닉페스티벌, 싸리워크 등의 지역행사에서 디제이로 무대를 설 수 있는 기회와, 장기적으로 지역내에서 디제이로 활동할 수 있는 프로필영상 제작 등을 지원받는다.
해당 교육의 수강신청은 02월 02일까지 지역문화콘텐츠연구소 사회적협동조합 홈페이지 (www.lccl.co.kr) 를 통해 신청할 수 있으며, 이후 면접을 통해 최종 수강인원을 확정하여 개별 수강생에게 합격여부가 통보된다.
배경하 지역문화콘텐츠연구소 사회적협동조합 대표는 “이번 로컬디제이 양성 과정을 통해 지역의 청년들이 지역의 활동가로서 주체적으로 활동할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 해당 프로그램을 기획하게 되었다”라고 밝혔다.
이어, “청년들이 지역 내에 정주할 동기를 주어, 지역의 청년인구 유출 문제를 극복할 수 있는 계기가 되기를 희망한다”고 전했다.
지역문화콘텐츠연구소 사회적협동조합은 지역의 청년인구 유출 문제를 지역문화콘텐츠 발굴을 통해 극복한다는 미션을 가지고 2019년 05월에 설립되었다.
