‘2023년 진주 문화재 야행’이 6호태풍 카눈으로 인해 하루가 연기돼 8.12(토)-8.14(월)까지 3일간 펼쳐지는 가운데 지난 12일 오후 3시 지역문화콘텐츠연구소(대표 배경하)가 마련한 ‘주댕이투어’팀이 진주향교(전교 박종식)를 찾아 예절교육과 성현 바로알기, 다도예절 교육 및 명상의 시간을 가졌다.
‘주댕이 투어’팀은 총 20명으로 젊은 부모님과 어린이들로 만들어 졌으며 이날 15:00부터 16:30까지 진주향교 충효교육원 본관 예절관에서 진주향교 양수영 수석장의의 예절교육과 다도 체험 시간을 30분간 가졌다.
그리고, 이면기 장의가 명륜당에서 진주향교와 성현들에 대해 설명하고 참가자들이 대성전에 알묘하는 시간까지 가졌다.
마지막으로 명륜당에서 양수영 수석장의가 피크닉 찻자리를 마련해 참가자 모두 둘러 앉아 명상을 하며 향긋한 차와 함께 마음을 가다듬는 여유로움도 가졌다.
이번에 시행하는 ‘2023년 진주문화재 야행’은 문화재청과 경상남도, 진주시가 주관하고 진주문화관광재단이 주최하는 행사로 올해로 두 번째이며, 야행기간 동안 진주향교 투어는 이번이 처음으로 참가자들 모두가 뜻깊은 추억을 담아갈 수 있는 좋은 프로그램으로 평가돼 내년에는 더 많은 팀이 참가할 것으로 기대된다.
